  • 1 Replacement Flap

Tools

  • Flat head screwdriver
  • 3/32" hex wrench (Allen key)

Please read instructions & notes thoroughly before replacing your flap.

Step 1 Remove the Side Magnet

  • Start by removing one side of the magnet from the side of the frame with a flathead screwdriver.
  • You may be able to leave it in partially, or you can remove it entirely.

Step 2 Remove the Hex Screw

  • Unscrew the hex screw located in the top corner of the flap frame.

Step 3 Remove the Old Flap

  • Once the screw is removed, slide the piece down to remove the flap.

Step 4 Insert the New Flap

  • Ensure the rod is centered on the new flap.
  • Insert the flap into the frame at an angle.

Step 5 Align the Flap Piece

  • Slide the piece that holds the flap up until the hole aligns with the hole in the frame.

Step 6 Replace the Side Magnet

  • Ensure the side magnet piece is pressed in place if you have not already done this step.
  • If the side magnet was entirely removed, ensure the magnet is returned facing the correct direction by snapping it to the flap first.

Step 7 Secure the Screw and Check the Seal

  • Return the screw and tighten firmly.
  • Do not overtighten the screw.
  • Check that everything seals properly, and you're done.
