Endura Flap Limited Lifetime Warranty
Endura Flap pet doors are designed, built, and warranted by Patio Pacific, Inc. in San Luis Obispo, California.
If your Endura Flap stops sealing, closing, or operating the way it should, we send you the parts to put it right, and we do that for as long as the product lasts.
A lifetime promise invites a fair question: where is the catch. The catch is the word limited, and we are not going to bury it. We cover the door failing to work. We do not cover how it looks, damage a pet caused, or a bad installation. Both lists are below in full.

Who is covered
This warranty covers your purchase of a new Endura Flap product. To make a claim, you need proof of purchase. See Proof of purchase for what counts.
If your door came to you another way, as a gift or with a house you bought, contact us anyway. We look at those case by case.
How long it lasts
For the life of the product. There is no expiration date and no deadline to register.
If the door is used in a kennel, boarding facility, or other commercial setting, coverage runs for three years from the date of purchase.
What is covered
Defects in materials and workmanship.
The test we apply is how your door works, not how it looks. If your Endura Flap stops sealing, closing, or operating the way it should, that is what this warranty is for.
Examples of covered problems:
- A flap that will not seal or close against the frame
- Magnets that have come loose or no longer hold the flap shut
- A frame that is bent, dented, or out of square
- Parts that do not fit together the way they were designed to
- A flap that is the wrong size for the door it was sold with
- A flap that has warped or bubbled far enough that it no longer seals or closes properly
If you are not sure whether your problem qualifies, send us photos and we will tell you. You do not have to diagnose it yourself.
What is not covered
Cosmetic condition. Dirt, scuffs, scratches, and discoloration are not defects. A flap that looks used but still seals, closes, and swings correctly is a working flap, and we will not replace it under warranty. A flap that looks warped or bubbled but still seals, closes, and swings correctly is a working flap too. You can buy replacement flaps and parts from us at any time.
Pet damage. Chewing, clawing, and forcing the door are not covered.
Misuse or abuse. Damage from using the product in a way it was not designed for is not covered.
Improper installation. If the door was installed incorrectly, we do not cover the damage that caused. The rest of the door stays covered.
Unauthorized modification. If the product was altered or repaired with parts we did not supply, we do not cover the damage that caused. The rest of the door stays covered.
Costs around the product. We do not cover labor, installation, removal, or service fees, or other costs that follow from a defect. Some states do not allow that limit, so it may not apply to you.
Nothing on this list means you are stuck with a broken door. We sell replacement parts, and you can order them at any time.
Not a security or containment device
An Endura Flap is a pet door, not a security or containment device. It does not guarantee that your pet stays in, and it does not guarantee that a person or animal stays out. Please account for that when you decide where to install one.
A defect inside the first 90 days: you choose
If your door fails inside the first 90 days after delivery, you decide which remedy you want. Return it for a refund under the Refund Policy, or keep it and take the warranty repair, which means we send you the parts at no cost to you. It is your call, not ours, and asking about one does not give up the other. After 90 days the return window has closed and the warranty is the route, for the life of the product.
What we will do
If your claim is approved, we send you replacement parts at no cost to you.
Most problems are solved with a part. If a part will not fix it, Patio Pacific may replace the whole product instead. That choice is ours to make.
Shipping. We pay the freight on covered replacement parts, to any address we shipped your original order to. Inside the continental United States or outside it, the part reaches you on us.
Duties and taxes are still yours. On a part going outside the United States, import duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges are your responsibility, the same as they were on the original order. Your country sets those, not us, and we can neither waive them nor estimate them for you.
If we ask you to send the failed part back so we can look at it, we pay that freight too, wherever we shipped the original order. Asking is our decision, so it is our cost, and we send you the label.
How to make a claim
1. Email us. Send customerservice@enduraflap.com three things:
- Your order number (see Proof of purchase)
- Clear photos of your pet door and of the part that is failing
- A short description of what the door is doing
2. We review it. We will give you a decision within 10 business days of receiving your photos. If we need something else from you, we will ask in that window.
3. We ship the parts. If your claim is approved, we send the parts as soon as they are available, and we tell you when they go out. We are a small manufacturer and part availability moves week to week, so we do not publish a number here. A date we invent is worth less to you than a date we actually know. If the part you need is not on the shelf when your claim is approved, we tell you that and what we are waiting on.
4. If we say no. We will tell you why, and we will tell you what the part costs if you want to buy it.
You can also call us at (800) 826-2871 and we will walk you through it.
Proof of purchase
The easiest proof is an order number from one of our own channels, because we can look it up ourselves:
- enduraflap.com
- petdoors.com
- Amazon.com
If you do not have your order number, email us the name, email, or phone number the order was placed under and we will look for it.
Bought it somewhere else? That is fine. A dated receipt or invoice showing a new Endura Flap product and the business you bought it from is proof of purchase, whoever that business is. We do not keep a list of approved sellers and we are not going to make you find your door on one. What we need is a legitimate receipt for a new product, not a private or secondhand sale.
If the door came to you as a gift, or with a house you bought, see Who is covered. Contact us and we will look at it case by case.
Registration
Registration is optional. You do not have to register your product to be covered, and there is no deadline to do it. Your proof of purchase is what we need.
Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Implied warranties. We give you a written warranty, so we do not disclaim the implied warranties that come with a product under law, such as the implied warranty of merchantability. Federal law does not permit that, and we are not attempting it. The written warranty is in addition to those rights.
