Parts

  • 1 Replacement Flap

Tools

  • Flat head screwdriver
  • 3/32" hex wrench (Allen key)

Please read instructions & notes thoroughly before replacing your flap.

Step 1 Remove the Side Magnet

  • Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the magnet from one side of the flap frame.

Step 2 Remove the Hex Screw

  • Unscrew the hex screw located in the top corner of the flap frame using a 3/32" hex wrench or Allen key.

Step 3 Remove the Old Flap

  • With the screw removed, slide the piece that holds the flap down, then remove the flap.

Step 4 Insert the New Flap

  • Make sure the rod is centered on the new flap.
  • Insert the new flap into the frame at an angle.

Step 5 Secure the Flap

  • Slide the piece that holds the flap up until its hole lines up with the hole in the frame.
  • Replace the hex screw and tighten it firmly.
  • Do not over-tighten the screw.

Step 6 Replace the Side Magnet

  • Press the side magnet back into place.
  • If the magnet fell out of its cover piece, test it against the side of the flap first to make sure you put it back in the correct orientation.

Step 7 Check the Seal

  • Check that the flap swings freely and seals properly against the frame. You're done!
