ENDURA FLAP® DOOR MOUNT PET DOOR
The Endura Flap® pet doors for doors is a versatile pet door that is typically installed as an exterior door but can be mounted on an interior door as well. They are designed to be installed on any solid core, hollow core, metal doors, and storm doors. The Endura Flap® is also a great option if you want a back door with a dog door.
The flap is the most important part of the doggy door, and the Endura Flap® is flexible, safe, and energy-efficient in all climates. The transparent, dual-pane flap seals securely against the outside weather using a patented system of magnets. When closed, the flap(s) greatly reduce the loss of air conditioning and heat. Each doggie door includes a locking cover to give you extra security and the choice of keeping your pets inside or outside.
A single flap Endura Flap® Pet Door is designed for doors 1/2 inches to 1 3/4 inches thick. It is an excellent option for all climates and smaller, more timid pets. Single flap pet doors are recommended for cats.
The double flap is designed for doors 1 3/4 inches to 2 1/4 inches thick. It is a great option for extreme weather conditions (cold or hot) where insulation is a concern. If your door is less than 1 3/4 inches thick, it can be built up to accommodate this pet door.
Both single and double flap pet doors can withstand winds up to 50 miles per hour! Adjusting magnets may be necessary and also allows for easier training.
What makes your pet door safe?
All of our door mounts come with a locking cover that the user can slide in from the top to ensure safe pet doors. This security panel is made out of a Dimensional ABS plastic, which is equivalent to 1/16 inches of steel. It is designed to add extra security to your pet door at night to prevent any unwanted guests or critters from entering. You could also use them to keep your pets inside or outside, depending on your situation!
