These are a part of the exclusive anti-whoops feature included on all Endura Flap patio pet doors. If you mismeasured you might be able to salvage the situation by using the "anti-whoops" feature:
To make your panel taller than 3/4", you may create your own using a 1" thick piece of wood).
To make your panel slightly shorter, up to 3/4", you may trim the flanges that accept the height extension with a metal hacksaw or jigsaw
If you need a substantially higher or shorter panel that doesn't fall into the standard Patio Pacific height adjustment ranges, then you may purchase a Custom Height Endura Flap €š Sliding Glass Pet Door.

How do I know if I need to purchase this pet door extender? The height and width extensions are made for when you purchase a Thermo Panel that is too small for your doorway. It adds about ¾” extra length to your Thermo Panel. You can also create your own with a 1” thick piece of wood, but it will not be as aesthetically pleasing. |

What do I do if the panel I purchased is too tall for my doorway? If it off by less than an inch, you may be able to saw off length from either the top or bottom of the panel to bring it to size. As long as your Thermo Panel is not a custom length, you can return it within 90 days of purchase. See your return policy for more details. |

I have an odd door height. Will this pet door extender help the Thermo Panel fit into my sliding glass doorway? Yes, it can! This is great for when your door is between door range sizes. However, if there is more than ¾” difference between the panel size and your doorway, then you should invest in a custom panel insert height. |
