How do I know which size replacement flap to order?
Match the replacement flap to your door's flap opening, not the frame. If you're unsure of your size, measure the flap opening or check the dimensions on your original order. Sizes range from Small through XXL, so ordering by the opening ensures a proper fit.
How do I find out which Endura Flap model I have?
The easiest way is to measure your flap opening and note your mount type, since the same flap size can come in a door, in-glass, or wall-mount frame. If you ordered from us, your original order will list the exact model. Have those details ready and we can confirm the correct replacement flap.
Note that the same Endura Flap replacement flap is used in every model of pet door that we manufacture and sell. We do not make special models for the walls versus doors, or sliders, so you can rest assured that all you need to match is the size of your current flap.
Can I add a second flap to convert a single-flap door to a double?
It may be possible to modify your existing door or wall model to add a second Endura Flap. Please contact our customer service team to talk through the details.
My flap is torn, cracked, or pulling apart. Is it covered?
The Endura Flap is backed by a lifetime warranty, assuming typical daily use, not subject to damage caused by your pet or wildlife, natural disasters, or other such incidents outside Endura Flap's control. If your flap is torn, cracked, or separating from normal use, you may qualify for a covered replacement flap. Reach out with photos and your order details and we'll be happy to assist you.
Will an Endura replacement flap fit an older or other-brand door?
Endura replacement flaps are designed for Endura Flap frames, and they fit some doors that use the same flap system, such as certain Pet Door Guys, Utah Pet Access, and Pet Door Products doors. Because older and other-brand frames vary, send us your flap measurements and a picture of your door and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
My flap won't stay shut or isn't sealing. Do I need a new magnet kit?
The flap relies on magnets to pull it closed and hold the seal. If the flap blows open in wind or no longer closes tight, the additional magnet kit restores the pull. The kit is also useful in windy locations or for taller flaps that need extra hold.
The bottom piece of my flap fell off. What part do I need?
The bottom of the flap is held by the retainer clip, which keeps the bottom piece and magnet seated so the flap seals correctly. If that piece separated or cracked, a replacement retainer clip restores the seal without needing a whole new flap.
Do I reuse the rod when I install a new flap?
Yes, the aluminum flap rod typically will never need replacement, and you will use the same rod if you are installing a new Endura Flap. The flap rod runs through the top of the flap and is held by locking washers that are meant to be reused during a flap swap. If a washer is lost or the rod is bent, order a replacement rod so your new flap seats and holds securely.
