Please read instructions & notes thoroughly before installation.
Step 1 Prep Your Door
- If possible, remove the door from its hinges using a screwdriver and hammer to tap out the hinge pins. Lay the door flap for installation. Tape the provided template to the door. The top edge of the cut-out line should be at least 3" above the pet's shoulders.
Step 2 Drill the Holes
- Once you are certain the pet door will work with your door, make sure the template is level, and mark the outline with a pencil. Remove the template and drill holes through the corners just inside of the lines using a 3/8" drill bit.
Step 3 Saw An Opening
- Using a jigsaw, cut along the marked lines, making sure to cut straight.
Step 4 Check Weatherstripping
- Ensure the weatherstripping is firmly pressed in the groove on both frames. Weatherstripping indicated in red.
Step 5 Position the Frames
- Place the trim frame on the outside of the door and the flap frame on the inside.
Step 6 Position Screws
- Select appropriate screws and insert them into the pet door from the inside.

Step 7 Screw Door Into Place
- Once the pet door is leveled, tighten the screws so that the weatherstripping compresses.
Step 8 Attach Screw Covers
- Push the four screw covers in by hand to cover the screws.
Step 9 Seal With Silicone
- Apply silicone where the two frames meet. Also apply silicone where the outside frame meets the door.

We will replace any defective parts at no cost to you. Defective parts may include incorrectly sized flaps, bent or dented frames, or improperly fitted parts.
Customers living outside of the continental United States are responsible for shipping costs as well as duties and taxes (if applicable) for any replacement parts or services covered under the warranty policy regardless of the replacement part or service's original cost.
Important Note:
- Endura Flap® pet doors have a lifetime warranty for normal wear & tear and manufacturing defects (dog-chewing is not covered).
- Damage caused by not using the product as intended, improper installation, and chewing is not covered under this warranty.
- Endura Flap Pet Doors used in a commercial application like a Kennel or Boarding facility have a three year warranty.

Quality Product
I installed this door yesterday. It went smoothly. The hardest part was sawing out the opening, because the door was a metal and foam sandwich that was just slightly thicker than my longest metal cutting blade. Using the template on one side, drilling corner holes and then connecting the hole edges with pencil lines allowed me to cut from both sides in exactly the same places. With an assist from my daughter we lined up the bolts with the bolt holes and bolted everything together. The finished product is beautiful and sturdy. I am sure it will last many years. I am a very satisfied customer.

I live in Texas where it is ALWAYS crazy windy and the door stays snugly shut keeping the cold North wind from getting in. This is my 3rd door since I have put one in every new house since I can't find any as well made as these.
Great Dog Door
We recently moved and were shopping for a dog door for our German Shepherd. I researched many doors and was really impressed with the Endura Flap with the details in the website and the many positive reviews. It was not the most inexpensive but I have always believed that you get what you pay for so I ordered one. One of the criteria that I judge companies on is how quickly they process and ship my order. Grade A as they had it at my door in 8 days from order. The packaging was Grade A and all parts were undamaged, they even included caulking and a caulking gun!!!! The quality of the door is a Grade A+++. Well designed and so much better than previous doors that we have used. The door seals tight and is still easily opened by our GS. I highly recommend this Dog Door!
Amazing!
We have two Endura Flap doors and two 90# sporting breed dogs. They blast through the door to meet us in the garage when we come home. In spite of over a year of energetic use from our large strong dogs, both flaps are good as new. The exterior door holds cold out and heat in. The security cover slides in easily, locks securely, and lifts out easily. Quality build, tight tolerances and smooth operation throughout. Couldn't recommend this product more enthusiastically.
