Top 5 Reasons Why Endura Flap Pet Doors is Great for Cats (and Not Just Your Dog)
Pet doors can sometimes feel like a dog’s world. It can be a struggle to find the best pet door for your cat. If you’re struggling to find a cat flap that your kitty will love, then look no further. Our Endura Flap Pet Doors are a great fit for every cat, whether they’re young and spry or old and grouchy.
In fact, we’ll give you five reasons why Endura Flap is the best cat door solution: they come in plenty of sizes, they can be installed anywhere, they’re weatherproof and energy efficient, they have adjustable magnets, and they come with a lifetime warranty.
Plenty of Sizes
We get it: not every cat is itty-bitty tiny.
Some cats are big and round; they can’t fit into the conventional small door sizes of most specialty cat doors. They need a large cat door. Endura Flap cat doors come in a large range of cat door dimensions to accommodate cats of any size.
Our smallest flap size is only 11” high, which is perfect for tiny kittens (though you might want to remove some of the magnets first!). Meanwhile, our largest flap is almost two feet tall and a foot wide, which means that even the biggest cats won’t have to squeeze their way through their new large cat door.
Don’t forget to measure your cat to determine the best cat flap size for them.
Fits Any Household
There are plenty of cats out there, and there are plenty of households that love them. With so many different households out there, the traditional cat door for doors or cat door for walls might not work for you and your cat.
Endura Flap pet doors come in a variety of models to fit any lifestyle. Does your cat like coming and going through the window? We have a cat door for windows that would work great for you. Have a sliding glass door? We got you covered with a cat door for sliding glass doors. We even have a cat door window insert that can fit most window sills, which is also available in vinyl for any vinyl window cat door need.

Weatherproof and Energy Efficient
One thing that cats and their owners can agree on is that water and the elements should not get inside their warm and comfy house. That’s why we’ve designed Endura Flap to be the best weatherproof cat door out there. The flaps on our outdoor cat doors are designed to keep the weather outside and keep your energy bill low.
Each kitty door flap is lined with magnets that create an airtight seal against rain, snow, and wind. Our flaps have even been tested to resist winds up to 40 mph.
Plus, our double flap system creates an extra layer of insulation value that keeps the cold air out. If you have an insulated cat door insert, you can also rely on our dual pane Low-e glass to keep the hot sun from heating up your cool home during the summer. With Endura Flap, you can rest assured that your cat’s new door won’t make your energy bill go up.
An Adjustable Magnetic Flap
We’ve already talked about the magnetic flap, but it does more than just keep the cold air and wind out of your house. Some cats are more timid than others, and they can have a harder time pushing their flap door open.
Don’t worry! That’s why the magnets lining our flaps are adjustable. If your cat is younger and not yet strong enough to push the flap open, you can remove some of the magnets to make it easier to open.
If you have a kitten you want to keep inside and an older cat that has free roam of the backyard, adding more magnets to your magnetic cat door will make it harder for the kitten to get through while still allowing your older cat access.
You can also make one side of the cat door flap easier to push open than the other by only removing the magnets in the corner. This will maintain the integrity of your insulated cat door’s energy efficiency value while allowing weaker pets a way through the door. This technique also works well for households where dogs and cats share the same door.
Lifetime Warranty Against Defects
We want to make sure that you’re always satisfied with your Endura Flap door, which is why every cat flap door comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. Our warranty policy is one of the best out there and can’t be beat by any other cat door brand. Hi John,
I apologize for any inconvenience in locating the instruction videos you need. Here is a video showing how to adjust/remove magnets for easier use: https://youtu.be/V0ff7CIVtoU. Additionally, this video shows how to remove the side magnets: https://youtu.be/FYBfDFSAW9Y.
Please feel free to contact us at 800.826.2871 or customerservice@enduraflap.com if you have any questions. Happy holidays!
You really do not have good up to date instruction videos. I have the 2 door small size flap. This video sayslide the bottom threshold bar to one side to get it out. That doesn’t work on the small door. I had to pry it up. So far I have not seen anything telling me how to remove the side magnets. I have a 5 pound fairly timid puppy. For at least a time I would like to take all the magnets out of both doors
